Norway allocates 40 million NOK ($3.9 million) to UN activities in Ukraine for restoring food production in war-affected areas, according to a government statement.

 

"Russia's war of aggression has destroyed large areas of arable land in Ukraine, making food production difficult for many farmers. Through a separate project, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is working to provide farmers with emergency assistance," the statement says.
